Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a terrific New Year!
- The Equinox HIT Team -
This holiday season, Equinox supported a Denver, Colorado missionary, Nichole Lutz, Project Coordinator with Catholic Sports. This gift will contribute to Nichole's opportunity to dedicate the next two years of her life to serving young adults. The Equinox team met Nichole through her work with Encore Electric, one of the project partners for SCL Health's New Lutheran Medical Center coming 2024. She ended her time there in October of 2021, began her fundraising program in November 2021, and will begin her missionary training in January 2022.
As the world continues to join in the pandemic eradication effort, we remember the importance of helping others. If you are in the position to help others this holiday season, please consider one of these for your gift:

Catholic Sports is a Denver-based, international young adult recreational sports outreach. Their mission is to build authentic community through recreational sports. Program Coordinator Missionarys manage volunteer leagues, lead Bible studies, provide one-on-one mentorship to young adults, build communities, and grow program participation.
"We define authentic community as one that fills the void of emotional and spiritual loneliness by living our core values (Hospitable Outreach, Catholic Orthodoxy & Vulnerable Intimacy) while remaining rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our recreational sports leagues allow players to enter this authentic community, through which they will be invited into our Bible Studies so that they will grow in a personal relationship with Jesus."
