After a decade of working only at a computer in IT, I was ready to completely change careers and work more with my hands. I love seeing progress being made on site and following projects through their lifecycles.

What drew you to the construction industry?
I was drawn to construction because it’s real, tangible work with real outcomes. I like solving problems strategically with a team and seeing the results show up in the field. I’m also drawn to large, technically complex projects where effective collaboration and communication are essential to successfully navigating dynamic environments.
What is your favorite thing about the industry?
My favorite thing would be that every project is different, so I’m always learning something new. No two jobsites are the same. No two project teams are the same. I'm always growing and learning from those around me, technically, professionally, and as a leader.Â
