We are proud to share that Equinox HIT Founder and Principal Teal Heath, FACHE, RN, has been honored by the Denver Business Journal as part of their 2026 Small Business Leaders awards program, which recognizes dedicated owners and entrepreneurs who guide their businesses through challenges to remarkable successes.
This recognition reflects what Teal has built over the past 15 years: a modern approach to the technology components in healthcare construction, which ensures hospitals and health systems open their doors with every technology system operational, tested, and clinically aligned from day one. From her roots as a registered nurse to executive healthcare leadership and founding Equinox HIT in June 2010, Teal has always worked at the intersection of healthcare, IT, and construction. Three complex industries that don't always speak the same language. She built Equinox HIT to bridge that gap, and 15 years later, the results speak for themselves: deep, lasting client partnerships and a business that keeps growing because the outcomes do the talking.

On June 11th at Kevin Taylor's at the Opera House, located in the Chambers Grant Salon Teal was recognized at the Denver Business Journal's Leaders in Small Business Cocktail Reception surrounded by fellow honorees and leaders from across the region. The evening celebrated innovation, resilience, and the impact small businesses have on the broader community.
Congratulations, Teal, on this well-deserved recognition!
