ASHE PDC Summit 2024: Inspiring Innovation to Create Value for the Healthcare Built Environment

The Equinox HIT team had a wonderful experience at the 2024 American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) PDC Summit held at the San Diego Convention Center. Throughout the summit, they participated in various educational sessions, gaining invaluable insights from industry experts and thought leaders.

When the team was not in one of the educational sessions, they were in the exchange lounge or visiting the many booths in the exhibit hall, networking with hospital administrators, healthcare facility management professionals, contractors, construction & design professionals, and care providers.

Entertainment & Culture

The team enjoyed the early evening receptions in the exhibit hall and additional events, which offered valuable networking opportunities with project and client partners. Monday evening's events kicked off with a rooftop gathering at the Hard Rock Hotel, sponsored by DPR Construction. This was followed by an event held at the historic USS Midway Museum, sponsored by Turner Construction, Covalus, HDR, BR+A Consulting Engineers, and Walter P Moore. While witnessing the SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base was a common experience for locals, it was a memorable moment for out-of-state attendees.

On Tuesday night, the chance to connect continued at Moonshine Flats, with an event sponsored by McCarthy featuring a live band from Nashville.

The Equinox team extends heartfelt gratitude to ASHE, the volunteers, the staff at the San Diego Convention Center, the sponsors, and fellow attendees for making this year's PDC Summit a memorable experience. Here's to continued collaboration and innovation in optimizing healthcare facilities and creating and maintaining safe healing environments. The Equinox HIT team looks forward to seeing you in Atlanta for the 2025 PDC Summit.
